Job Description:
Timekeeping processing of Laborers.
Gathering and examining timesheets to ensure their validity.
Entering payroll information and maintaining payroll files.
Preparing ledger entries with earnings and deductions.
Ensuring that compensation for overtime work is calculated at the appropriate rate and that annual leave is calculated accordingly, if applicable.
Confirming that legally-mandated and optional deductions have been processed correctly.
Preparing and distributing hard copy or electronic paychecks.
Addressing queries about payroll-related issues.
Working to resolve discrepancies in payments as a matter of urgency.
Might be assigned to assist other accounting staffs
Job Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Accountancy.
6 months - 1 year of experience in Timekeeping or General Accounting Experience.
Experience in preparing ledger entries and processing payments.
Willing to work in real estate and construction related industry.
Ability to maintain and update employees' payroll files.
Knowledge of legislation and procedures pertaining to salary deductions.
Adherence to all prescribed ethical guidelines, including confidentiality.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Supplemental Pay:
13th month salary
Commission pay
