PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
 
Responsibilities:
Responsible for a variety of activities such as inbound and outbound calls and transcribed voice messages.
Help customers with complaints and questions, and give customers information on clinic services.
Manage customer queries and concerns; assist patients with requests such as prescription refills, referrals, and lab slips.
Strong work ethic; dependable and responsible individual.
Adaptable and maintain flexibility in completing tasks in an ever-changing workplace.
Collect accurate demographic and financial information.
Schedule patient appointments with the provider.
Confirm patient insurance verification and eligibility
Requirements:
Advanced English speaking/writing skills with great phone skills
Customer service experience preferred; preferably with local HMO experience
A graduate of medical courses is a plus
Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations required
Interpersonal skills to work with diverse people within the organization
Willing to work on site
