Food preparation - Follows measurements and procedures as detailed in the Standard Recipes. - Ensures that all dessert items are ready for service with the standard preparation time - Checks the quality of dessert items before preparation. - Practices maximum flexibility and creativity when dealing with special requests. 3. Stock control - Prepares mis-en-place as advised by superior. - Completes the par stocking of supplies and equipment. 4. Profitability - Follows cost control procedures. - Prepares spoilage/wastage reports. Professional Eligibility n/a Skills Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role. Great attention to detail and creativity. Organizing and leadership skills. Willingness to replenish professional knowledge. In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition. Education Degree Holder preferably Culinary / HRM Experience At least 4 years in a similar capacity Responsibility Responsible for contributing to customer delight by cooking and preparing cakes, pies, and other desserts and pastries as required.
