Job Description
Assist Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily pastry section operations
Prepare food according to menu specifications
Prepare and set up all daily necessary ingredients
Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
Control and manage food stock and monitor food costs within assigned section.
Coordinate with other kitchen sections to meet requirements, ensure cleanliness, reduce wastage, and control costs
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Knowledge of pastry techniques and food preparation
In-depth understanding of food safety regulations, health codes, and hygiene standards
