Urgent Hiring: PASTRY CHEF
About the Role: Pastry Chef will be assigned in El-Mar Resort in Calumboyan, Sogod, Cebu.
KEY LIAISON: Kitchen, F&B Dining, FO and Hotel guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all the day-to-day operations in the pastry section in the kitchen and coordinates with the other chefs.
Lead in preparing a variety of baked goods for El-Mar guests.
Present savory pastries and baked goods in a creative way.
Responsible for monitoring the inventory of the ingredients, supplies and equipment.
Ensures the health and safety regulations in the Kitchen Department.
Capable of creating new seasonal recipes and menus in line with the latest trends to attract more guests.
Time management skills to carry orders on schedule and control in avoiding wasting food.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be a graduate of Culinary, HRM and other relevant courses.
Must have 2 to 3 years of work experience in a resort/ hotel setting.
Good communication skills.
Willing to be assigned in Sogod.
Can work ASAP.
