ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualify new parts and vendors
Perform validation, evaluation, test, and analysis for new parts introduced to the product
Work with supply chain or buyers for alternate parts
Participate in cost reduction activities
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Background:
Must be graduate of engineering course preferably EE, EcE and ComE
Experience:
With 2 to 3 years' experience in industry involving electrical and electronics product as component engineer or the likes.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:
a. Must have basic engineering knowledge
b. Knowledgeable in electrical and electronic components function and operation
c. Have basic knowledge in using common engineering tools and equipment
d. Having high analytical and technical skills
e. Able to interpret or read schematic diagrams
f. Able to do testing related to electronics, electrical and mechanical
g. Hardworking, smart, open-minded, flexible and can work under pressure and with lesser
supervision
