JOB DESCRIPTION
· Checks and examines the abstracts of titles, contracts, and other legal documents to determine ownership of land acquisition;
· Draws up legal documents covering purchase and sale of land, and other documentary evidence to meet legal requirements;
· Searches for and examines public records and writes opinions on titles;
· Drafts and reviews various legal documentation and contracts like Deed of Conditional Sale, MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) and other related documents pertaining on land acquisition;
· Collaborates with external and in-house legal counsel pertaining to legal cases of the properties and recommends the filing of new cases, if needed;
· Negotiates and settles with the land owners, tenant/s and illegal settlers of subject properties for acquisition;
· Conducts Legal Due Diligence on all property acquisition;
· Liaises/coordinates with LGUs and other concerned government agencies;
· Has knowledge/familiarity with the conversion of land use;
· Processes reconstitution of missing or lost titles and transfer of titles
JOB QUALIFICATION
Minimum 2 years with corporate commercial experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with people at all levels
Ability to exercise sound commercial judgment when balancing legal risks against business benefits
Self-motivated and independent
Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Law or equivalent.
