Job Description
Cleaning surfaces prior to and after surface preparation to specification
Conducting masking/encapsulation
Mixing paint according to instructions
Applying coatings via spray (Airless & Conventional), Brush & Roller to specification
Performing basic quality control functions during application such as testing WFT
Conducting works in various locations such as confined space and working at heights.
Responsible for the maintenance of equipment in accordance with QC standards
Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, complete and safe condition
Continuously monitor quality of work.
Measure and record batch numbers and equipment serial numbers.
Follow all safety instructions and procedures
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Industrial Painting
Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in site painting
Experience applying two-pack pants via Brush, Roller or Spray applications
Trade certificate in Painting & Decorating or Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application
Defense, Industrial or Marine industry experience
Able to undergo extensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
Strong work ethic with proven work history
Positive and proactive approach to safety. Willingness to work overtime
HRL (Rigging / Dogman, EWP, Forklift)
Tickets (Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights)
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must be at least a graduate of 1-year vocational course or Completed at least 1 year in college
