Job Description
Hardcoats, paints and clear coats various products to the highest standards under the supervision of the paint shop supervisor
Occasional sanding and prepping and mixing paints
Coordinating with Project Manager, Production manager on hardcoat products
Attending various meetings, production, preplanning and others as needed
Independently starting and finishing any hardcoat assignments
Operating and maintaining hardcoat equipment & paint guns
Keeping your work area clean and organized / Keeping track of supplies used
Completing time sheets accurately and on time (by end of the next day)
Maintaining the hardcoat bay and perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Preferably degree with courses in painting, or adequate portfolio
3 to 4 years related experience
Extensive airbrush experience and equivalent combination of education and experience
Extensive knowledge of hardcoat, paints, finishes and specialty coatings
Extensive knowledge of hardcoat equipment, it's maintenance and operation
Skills to mix paint to pantone standards and effectively colour match
Skills to effectively and efficiently achieve all hardcoat textures
Good understanding of paints, hardcoat and specialty coatings
Ability to work as a part of a team on projects that require many different skills and tend to be complex and part of a larger whole
Skills to establish priorities work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision
Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
