The Packaging Assistant will assist in daily filling operations. He/She will ensure that finished blends are properly packed in their designated containers/packaging and are compliant to quality standards.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Ensure that filling lines run safely with a high level of efficiency.
a. Ensure that filling lines and other equipment used in operations are inspected daily and calibrated.
b. Operate filling line safely and efficiently.
c. Notify Lubricants Packaging Foreman of equipment problems.
e. Perform simple maintenance on equipment during the shift to ensure it is completely functional and is safe to operate.
f. Ensure that finished products are correctly labelled prior transfer to the designated staging area.
g. Ensure that paperwork and minor administrative tasks are completed at the beginning and end of every shift.
h. Conduct daily housekeeping activities at the beginning and end of every shift.
Preferred Qualifications for this Role:
At least high school graduate
Preferably with experience in operating a filling machine.
Aptitude for math, problem-solving and mechanics.
Understanding of basic troubleshooting and maintenance
Understading of health and safety standards
Problem-solving skills
Effective communication
Critical thinking
Reading comprehension
Time management
Judgment and decision making
Detail-oriented and well organized.
Team oriented
Expectations from Candidates:
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
