The OPEX Financial Analyst is responsible for tracking company's expense performance against plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute financial forecasts /outlook, analysis of business drivers, and financial reporting based on established periodic cadences, working with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Produce monthly expense bridges report (outlook vs actual) to Corporate Finance.
Maintain current financial planning, analysis and reporting processes, while actively driving continuous business processes improvements to increase efficiency.
Prepare and furnish expense reports to Cost Center Owners and Budget Coordinators for their analysis and review.
Create purchase requisition (PR) and timely expense confirmation in Ariba system.
Request new/update cost center and WBS master data in the Finance MDM portal.
Request new/update expense allocations upon Stakeholder input.
Prepare and submit expense journal entries in Blackline.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Accounting; CPA or CMA a plus
2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields.
Advanced analytical and data mining proficiencies. Maintaining, enhancing or building and interpreting complex Microsoft Excel / Access financial data models and sophisticated Power BI dashboards.
Competent, with hands on experience, in SAP ERP, BPC, AFO systems, workflow, reporting modules and data extraction tool sets.
Strong working knowledge of financial and operational processes.
