Our manufacturing facility at the Baguio City Economic Zone is now inviting applications for: VALVE CELL OPERATOR Duties & Responsibilities: This position is responsible for various operations to include a. ILAP/FIT/DEBURR, b. GRINDS c. TEST. Perform set-ups and all other operator level functions. The role is responsible for the inspection of all work performed, detecting unusual conditions, and recognizing errors in blueprints and parts. The technician is expected to understand the business objectives, follow standard work instructions, to find and fix problems, continuously seek improvements on various processes and standards; and utilize a wide variety of manufacturing tools (i.e., 5S, Lean concept, Visual management, 6 sigma and other improvement tools applicable). This role will require someone who has a great focus on quality and can demonstrate a Zero-Defect Mindset where he/she will commit to do things right the first time, every time; creating a work environment where nearly right and good enough are not acceptable. Minimum Requirements: Education & Experience: Completed at least 3rd year engineering course + General machine shop course; or Any Engineering course graduate + 2 years machining experience; or Mechanical Technology/Electromechanical Technology/Tool and Die Technology/Industrial Technology Major in Machine Shop graduate; or High school graduate or other courses + Machine shop course + 2 years machining experience. Skills and Knowledge: Blueprint reading Metrology Working knowledge of the Lean Management System, Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement as well as Zero Defect Mindset supporting the Moog Quality System.
