Job Description :
The Operations Planner works to ensure the company's financial, commercial and operational decisions are timely, efficient and grounded on a solid plan and forecast of business performance based on market conditions, client understanding and historical performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop effective forecast models of volume and financial performance based on various sources including client performance and coordination, industry trends, operational performance and commercial deployments
Chair forecast reviews and financial reviews
Regularly analyze and review forecast accuracy
Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy
Monitor and report deviations from forecast that materially affect business performance
Qualifications
Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any business related course
At least 1 year of solid experience in planning
Solid experience in demand modeling and forecasting
Good understanding and exposure to the different components of the P&L
Basic knowledge of various computer programs, including: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and other related software programs
Solid expertise in spreadsheet programs and functions
SQL, Python, and any data analytics tool is a plus
