OPERATIONS MANAGER
An operations manager is key part of a management team and oversees high-level HR duties, such as attracting talent and setting training standards and hiring procedures. They also analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Operations
Should have an in depth knowledge on operations work in the restaurant. Knows how to run and maintain the business at all times.
Marketing Coordination
Should be able to establish effective marketing plans and closely coordinate with the appropriate department for any related concerns.
Admin Work
Should have knowledge on the administrative works such as necessary permits, statutory benefits and closely coordinate with the appropriate department for any related concerns.
Central Supply Coordination
Should have knowledge on monitoring stocks, aging inventory, etc. and closely coordinate with the appropriate department for any related concerns.
HR Coordination
Should be able to determine manpower or any branch issues and to closely coordinate with the appropriate department for any related concerns.
Technical/IT Coordination
Should have in depth technical knowledge and be able to assess, present, scout and/or propose any new system needed for the business. Should be familiar with current system in place and closely coordinate with the appropriate department for any related concerns.
Branch Maintenance
Should be an expert on the duties and responsibilities of a restaurant manager and be able to run the branch in the absence of any OIC.
Language or Letter Formulation
Should be an expert on sentence construction or on creating letters, proposal, etc. to suppliers, clients, etc.
Operations Manager Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
Excellent communication skills.
Solid understanding of financial management.
