Position Overview:
 
We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead our team of gelato enthusiasts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail or food service management, with a knack for problem-solving, team leadership, and operational excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations across our five branches, driving performance, and ensuring a consistently outstanding customer experience.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations for all five branches, ensuring that each location meets company standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise branch managers and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Performance Management: Monitor and analyze branch performance metrics, implement strategies for improvement, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management and supply chain processes to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
Customer Experience: Address and resolve customer concerns and feedback promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for each branch, ensuring financial goals are met.
Compliance: Ensure all branches comply with health, safety, and legal regulations, including proper handling and storage of gelato and other products.
Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail or food service management, with at least 2 years in a multi-unit management role.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Operational Expertise: Solid understanding of operational best practices, including inventory management, customer service, and financial oversight.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
