As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence within the operations to the policies and required standards of health, safety and integrity as well as business profitability Reporting to Local Marketing and Sales Head, overseeing all aspects related to operations of a local unit (s) including the full scope of operations (project management and control, project engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, maintenance, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, supply chain, planning and fulfillment) or a part of that. This position is based in Paraaque City, Philippines.
Your responsibilities
Developing business action plans for the unit(s) aligned with business area/division/product group strategy and targets
Preparing annual budget, oversees progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources
Developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations
Maintaining compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results
Providing support to sales staff to improve understanding of customer requirements to identify both potential constraints and solutions to these requirements from an operational point of view
Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
Ensuring that the organization takes an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations on quality, service levels and lead time and has a full understanding and culture of continuous improvement behaviors, methodology and processes
Creating and maintaining a positive work environment for the company
Your background
Tertiary or degree qualifications in Engineering (electrical) / commercial qualification or recognized equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations management, procurement and logistics, supply chain, project management from a fast-paced environment is preferred
Experience in managing and leading a team
Experience in financial reporting and will be comfortable tracking costs
Computer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential
Good communication skills and assertive business acumen
