OPERATIONS MANAGER
 
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing management, operations management, or any related field.
Experience: 5-10 Years work experience in managing manufacturing and logistics operations.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality management systems.
Leadership and management skills: Should have excellent leadership and management skills to effectively oversee manufacturing operations. This includes the ability to lead teams, set goals, develop and implement strategies, and ensure efficient operations.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities: Manufacturing operations often involve complex challenges and decisions. Should possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address issues promptly, identify opportunities for improvement, and make sound decisions under pressure.
Technical knowledge: Familiarity with the technical aspects of manufacturing, including machinery, equipment, production planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics or delivery.
Communication and interpersonal skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide clear instructions, resolve conflicts, and interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Analytical and data-driven mindset: The ability to analyze data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), make data-driven decisions is crucial for optimizing manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement. Creating and reporting of data analysis.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations: In the manufacturing industry, safety is a top priority. Should have a good understanding of health and safety regulations and ensure
compliance within their operations.
Computer Skills: Competency in using relevant computer software and systems for production planning, inventory management, and data analysis. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis purposes.
