We are seeking an experienced and organized Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our logistics business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly, including managing a team of delivery agents, ensuring client jobs are entered and closed out properly, and overseeing client and vendor onboarding.
 
This is a full-time role, on a fixed US shift and on a Work onsite set-up.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a team of delivery agents, including locating and collecting quotes from agents in locations where we do not currently serve, onboarding new agents, sending new jobs to agents, following up on existing jobs, and closing out completed jobs.
Ensure timely entry and dispatch of client jobs in our CRM system.
Monitor and manage jobs and their deadlines to ensure that all jobs are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Provide regular updates and reporting to Founders regarding operational performance, and areas for improvement
Work with the project manager to implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service delivery
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations
Identify which areas of the business require additional personnel to ensure seamless service delivery to clients
Resolve any operational issues and customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability within the Company
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, logistics or a related field preferred
7+ years of experience in operations management within the logistics industry.
3+ years of experience as a director of vice president within the logistics industry
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other departments and external partners
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Airtable and other software tools used for tracking and reporting operational performance
