We're hiring an Operations Manager to join our fantastic team! This is for a DAYSHIFT Australian account - Saturdays and Sundays off!
We are looking for a highly organized, committed, and passionate Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the strategic goals for Delonix clients. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large insurance customers and the organization’s network.
Responsibilities:
Provide managerial support as a liaison between office, subcontractor and customer and external customer service
Ensure company partners are coordinating and performing all responsibilities in order to ensure job efficiency and customer satisfaction
Communicate job progress to management and raise any significant issues
Resolve day to day issues of the assigned department, through innovative, cost-effective solutions
Assist with partner audit and performance evaluations
Assist in recruiting and selection of subcontractors
Ensure all appropriate documentation and licenses of partners are obtained and maintained
Orient and train new subcontractors on the proprietary management system
Draft, review and negotiate contractual details with partners, and manage their subsequent administration
Assist in preparation of tenders and responses to customer requests for proposals
Management of subcontractors to ensure achievement of targets and key milestones
Establish and update records of all correspondence related to job activity
Initiate and conduct meetings with subcontractors concerning problems as requested by General Manager
Prepare reports and presentations to management and customers
Prepare reports detailing expenditure, progress, and other relevant factors
Evaluate and report any changes to the schedule, updating customer if required to reflect this
Contribute to the management of the business
Ensure subcontractors have completed the documentation to ensure that the job has been ended in an appropriate manner
Work closely with the team to achieve KPI’s
Contribute to team morale by following the code of conduct when dealing with colleagues in the workplace
Carry out risk assessments if required
Any other job-related tasks as directed by management
Qualifications & Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in business/account/project/ or operations management
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to multi-task and to work in a complex environment
Highly organized, able to multitask and work independently
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Possess discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, and initiative
Must have proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to apply independent judgment, discretion, and initiative to address problems and develop solutions
Must have competence in understanding, interpreting, and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas, and instructions
Demonstrate ability to use various computer software programs and fluency in using standard office software packages, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Gmail
