We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Director / Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the company's operational performance and ensure efficient coordination among departments. The role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, supporting workforce management functions, and maintaining close coordination with the accounting and finance team to ensure proper controls and reporting across the organization.
The COO will work closely with senior management to implement operational strategies, strengthen internal systems, and ensure departments operate in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments and branch locations.
Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, service delivery, and organizational performance.
Establish and enforce operational policies, systems, and standard operating procedures.
Monitor departmental performance and ensure operational targets and service standards are achieved.
Lead coordination among departments to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Human Resources Coordination
Oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
Work closely with the HR team on matters related to recruitment, staffing requirements, employee performance, and workforce planning.
Ensure proper implementation of company policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee relations processes.
Support management in addressing employee concerns, operational staffing issues, and organizational development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
Accounting & Finance Coordination
Coordinate closely with the Accounting and Finance Department to ensure proper monitoring of operational expenses, budgets, and financial controls.
Review operational expenditures, purchase requests, reimbursements, and related transactions in coordination with accounting.
Support financial reporting by ensuring operational data and documentation are properly maintained.
Assist in implementing internal controls and procedures that strengthen financial accountability across departments.
Strategic & Organizational Management
Translate management directives into operational plans and measurable targets.
Identify opportunities for operational improvement and organizational efficiency.
Support the development of systems that strengthen accountability, reporting, and operational governance.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Strengthen internal monitoring, reporting structures, and operational controls across departments.
Support risk management and compliance initiatives within the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
8-12 years of progressive leadership experience, including senior operational management roles.
Proven experience overseeing multi-department or multi-branch operations.
Strong organizational leadership and operational management background.
Ability to coordinate effectively with HR, accounting, and other functional departments.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in service, retail, or multi-location operations.
Background in organizational systems development and operational process improvement.
Experience working closely with HR and finance teams in operational management.
