Market Job Description The role reports jointly to the Head of Consumer Lending (CL) in WFIP ; and to a Senior Leader in Cards and Retail Merchant Services (CRMS) in US. Incumbent will be responsible for overall management of operations team with headcount of close to 1000 with presence in multiple locations within WFIP (Philippines and India). Incumbent will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to grow in terms of HC and complexity. Incumbent is expected to engage with LoB partners, at a strategic level in driving initiatives to add value to the business. Operations represent substantial financial risk and performance has direct corporate-wide impact. Contributes in developing function's overall strategy, lead alignment & integration with enterprise. Develop appropriate relationships to get a seat at the senior table, work on global projects and aim for global responsibility. Move away from a service delivery model to a trusted partnership and enable ownership.1. Build business and provide more end to end ownership and accountability of outcomes as against task related SLAs. Drive key focus metrics. 2. Drive changes as appropriate in the operating model to achieve overall objectives. 3. Drive further engagement and alignment to the enterprise. 4. Improve on level of interactions - influence key stakeholders in enterprise to drive business decisions and contribute to overall strategy of the function. 5. Drive value add via Tech Ops collaboration; Robotics; Analytics etc in order to bring impact at WFIP and Enterprise level. 6. Focus on adding and delivering on Change Delivery (Process Engineers; Change Management; Program Management; Solution Consulting; Requirements gathering etc.) and Reporting & Analytics. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Leading Operations for the CRMS line of business. The business will have presence in multiple sites (across 2 countries). Desired candidate should have strong experience of running operations for Card; Collections; Customer Service.. Build and lead a team of approximately 1000+ across the business. Build and lead a team to deliver quality and cost effective off-shoring experience to to the US managers Manage the LoB's budgets, revenues and expenses. Implement ideas for improving year on year financial performance of the team without diluting the overall stakeholder experience thus reducing Total Cost of Operations. Engage and manage stakeholder relationships. Identify opportunities to add value to the business - take new ideas; engage and take ownership of part of full business strategic priority. The desired candidate should be well versed on the Cards industry happenings. The candidate should also be adept at being able to leverage current technology and innovation to present solutions to the business. Engage the partners (counterparts in the US) to plan, assign and manage the delivery of work and strategic priorities The incumbent is expected to engage with business and gain credibility to lead / support large transformational initiatives | high impact global projects. Operational Excellence: focus on driving continuous improvement Risk Management: proactively identify risks and build robust internal controls Develop and maintain a flexible and skilled resource base for provision of the service collaborating with colleagues for efficient resource management Create opportunities for growth, both horizontal and vertical. Unique Knowledge & Skill Requirement Demonstrated ability leading a major function or large geographic segment of a financial services organization. Strong knowledge and experience in the Cards business. Demonstrated ability to interact with effectively engage a variety of contacts, primarily senior leaders across business; change delivery and technology. Solid budget forecasting and risk management skills. Ability to produce year on year improvement in financial performance there reducing Total Cost of Operations (TCO).
