About the Role
Work involves providing front-office portfolio management support related to annual reviews, credit memo preparation, financial analysis, trend analysis, report creation and maintenance, system of record updates, regulatory compliance, and ad-hoc projects.
Responsibilities
Monitor accounts performance, including financial statement spreading, financial analysis, trend analysis, and document requirements tracking
Prepare annual reviews, valuations and credit write-ups
Review and validate monthly and quarterly regulatory compliance requirements
Assist with compliance-related tasks and be up-to-date on new compliance requirements
Research and compile industry reports
Update databases, system of records and worksheets and find ways to improve systems/worksheets to provide additional efficiency
Work on assigned projects as needed
Market Skills and Certifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, commercial banking or in similar relevant field
6+ years of experience in financial industry or related field
Work US hours (night shift)
Sound knowledge of financial statements, financial spreading and financial trend analysis, including working knowledge on GAAP Accounting
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational and analytic skills with attention to details
Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS office applications
Ability to recognize and escalate issues to management for any process breaches
Ability to multitask to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Ability to work quickly & accurately while maintaining acceptable standards of workmanship
