OPERATIONS MANAGER
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
As the Operations Manager at SAWO, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our manufacturing business. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our manufacturing (metal, wood and electrical works) operations to ensure the highest level of productivity, quality, and efficiency.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of production supervisors and manufacturing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Production Optimization: Streamline and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring on-time production and delivery of high-quality products while managing resources effectively.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards and procedures to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities, and work to improve cost-efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
Compliance: Ensure that the manufacturing operations comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure that raw materials are sourced efficiently and that inventory levels are maintained at appropriate levels.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and drive operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
5+ years of proven experience in manufacturing operations management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in process optimization and quality control methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
