Job Description
To oversee and manage project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while effectively coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Contribute to defining production schedules and goals for the year, including lowering wastage and rejections.
Design production plans to achieve efficient use of materials, labour and equipment in order to meet production targets on cost, quality and quantity
Ensure minimal or zero stoppage of work and to meet delivery targets on production
Monitor the production process and adjust schedules as needed.
Direct and monitor all operational work instructions and procedures
Review manufacturing related metrics and reports and undertake corrective action if necessary.
To service bulk/large orders within stipulated turnaround times to ensure optimal internal and external customer satisfaction.
Regular interaction with sales and supply chain/operations team to ensure smooth production flow and minimal work stoppage
Set and monitor quality standards and implement quality control programs for product and process
Monitor performance to production schedules and inventory of raw materials and finished products
Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management or similar fields.
Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within Africa or Middle East or any international experience is preferred.
Experience in managing projects in diverse industries or sectors.
Strong understanding of project management software and tools.
