About the Client: Cluey Learning delivers a personalised, face-to-face online tutoring experience for students in Years 2-12, across Maths, English, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. They make learning support accessible and convenient so that tutoring can be booked at a time that suits each child's schedule. Learning sessions take place live and online via their learning platform, which means students can log in from the comfort of home and work with their expert tutor without interrupting the family schedule. All of their content is mapped to the Australian National Curriculum and is based on the unique learning needs of each individual. In this way, Cluey programs cover the topics each student is learning in class and specifically addresses each child's challenges. All sessions are recorded and can be re-watched for future reference, and parents can see what their child has learned. Thanks to the online nature of their approach, they're able to source, train and quality check the best tutors from around Australia and make them available to any student, regardless of whether they live on a farm, in a big city, or in a small town between Milly Milly and Murgoo. Job Summary: They are looking for an Online Teacher to lead our students in a virtual setting . In this position, you will utilize our e-learning platform to deliver video lectures, upload and assign reading materials, and administer quizzes and tests . You will also facilitate discussions on the class forum to keep your students engaged. Since e-learning can be difficult, you must be available for students who need extra help. Their ideal applicant has a bachelors degree in their subject and an active teaching license. While they prefer teachers who have virtual teaching experience, those who have only worked in physical classrooms are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Creating and presenting lessons that are congruent with students educational needs. Live stream video lectures for your students Assign reading, homework, and projects to help your students learn the material Administer quizzes and tests over the e-learning platform Encouraging participation within the classroom to promote the consolidation of learning content. Establishing relationships with students to ensure that they disclose cognitive and psychosocial difficulties that may impede their academic progress. Monitoring and reporting on students progress. Grade your students on their performance and provide feedback Reporting recurrent technical difficulties and other notable incidents to the appropriate member of staff. Attending staff meetings, as required. Respecting cultural differences among students and staff. Ensuring that all requisite equipment remains in excellent condition. Requirements Bachelors degree in Education with relevant specialization. Must be Licensed Professional Teacher (LCP) At least 3 recent and relevant years of proven teaching experience, ideally in a similar setting - English, Math, Science/Chemistry. Hands-on experience in any LMS for virtual teaching Outstanding verbal, non-verbal, and written skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. A well-lit, distraction-free environment from which to conduct your lessons. Well-groomed appearance.
