Easy Talk Language School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Online ESL Teacher to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Cebu City, Cebu, where you will deliver engaging English language instruction to students from around the world through our online platform. As an Online ESL Teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping learners develop their English proficiency, build confidence, and achieve their language learning goals. This position is essential to our mission of making quality English education accessible to a global audience.
 
Key responsibilities
Deliver engaging and interactive English language lessons via our online platform to students of varying proficiency levels
Plan and prepare comprehensive lesson materials, including lesson plans, activities, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards
Conduct one-on-one and group classes using a variety of teaching methodologies and techniques to accommodate different learning styles
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help learners improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Create a supportive and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and builds confidence
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic progress and areas for improvement
Adapt teaching strategies based on student feedback and learning outcomes
Participate in professional development activities and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
Recognised English teaching qualification such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching English, preferably in an online environment
Proficiency in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and phonetics
Experience with online teaching platforms and learning management systems
Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple classes and students
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace suitable for conducting classes
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends to accommodate students in different time zones
Preferred: Experience teaching young learners, business English, or exam preparation classes
