Position details
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Work from home
Scheduling: Required to teach a minimum of 2 lessons daily in the peak teaching hours of 23H00 - 24H00 (Beijing time zone). Additional lessons can be booked on top of this.
Lessons are 25 minutes
Students: You will teach students in the age range of 3 - 15 years.
Training: Training and ongoing professional development throughout the contract.
Remuneration: Set base rate of $3.5 USD per hour with additional performance bonuses.
You'll be employed by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider
Deliver excellent English language lessons and guidance to students across the globe, while maintaining a fun and engaging classroom environment.
What is needed?
Minimum requirements:
Tertiary education
Accredited TEFL, TESOL, TEYL
Professional fluency in English and great command of the language
Highly computer literate
No criminal record
Great communication skills
Excellent timekeeping and punctuality
Able to work shifts
Be willing to work shifts on weekends
A quiet, clean, tidy, and well-lit teaching environment
All hardware and technical requirements as detailed below
Advantageous:
Teaching experience strongly preferred, particularly online English teaching
Technical requirements
You must have:
1. PC specifications
Processor: Intel ® CoreTM i3 CPU @2.70GHz (4 CPUs) or greater
Memory: 8GB RAM or greater
2. Internet connection:
Must be a good internet connection (cabled, not wifi) connection
Minimum of 10 Mbps upload and download speed
3. Headsets should have a noise-canceling feature
4. Camera should be HD and have anti-glare features
All candidates must have a TEFL and Tertiary Qualification
