Duties and Responsibilities
1. Willing to be trained/assigned to either Chemotherapy, Palliative, Vascular-OR, Radiation Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Center.
2. Provide direct nursing care for specified patients, including appropriate supportive care and administration of chemotherapy, blood components, fluid and electrolyte replacements, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
3 Perform nursing assessment and triage regarding patients' health concerns, treatment, diagnostic tests, medications, side effect and prioritized patient care needs.
4. Assist physician in completing consultations providing a high level of quality care.
5. Work closely with the Oncologist with regards to assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
6. Manage both the symptoms of a patient's disease and the side effects of various cancer treatments
7. Provide education to patients, families, and significant others. Act as an information resource to students, health care professionals, patients, and the public.
8. Assist physician in completing consultations providing a high level of quality care.

10. Explain the Patient Consent Form (PCF) to and obtain signature of the patient relative who serves as witness to the patient receiving treatment.
11. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Graduate of BS Nursing
2. Registered Nurse (with or without experience)
3. Experience as Oncology Nurse or OR Nurse is an advantage but not required
4. Preferably with Oncology Nursing training certification issued by PONA
5. With IVT, BLS, ACLS training (preferred)
6. Knowledge on all nursing policies and procedures, hospital policies and procedures
7. Matured, can keep highly confidential information, honest and trustworthy
