Description
The Payroll Analyst is a key member of the Global Human Resource Information Systems (GHRIS) Team. In this capacity the analyst will act as the expert with knowledge in all areas of non US payroll processing support. The primary objective of the analyst is to ensure that payroll processing is done efficiently and error-free; this is to achieve the GHRIS service level goals.
The Payroll Analyst will ensure that customer service expectations are met and maintained and cultivate relationships with appropriate customer contacts in order to be responsible and proactive according to their needs.
Responsibilities
Administrative
-To provide excellent customer service to customers by timely response, accurate information, proactive assistance, and proper, accurate, and timely information processing.
- Updates self on process development to further improve work processes.
- Responsible in updating run sheet, contact list, and other payroll related documentation of the team.
-Provide production and customer related input for the GHRIS business plan.
Escalation
-Escalates technical or non-technical problems that are unable to be resolved on the spot to proper escalation channel.
- Develops own resources and goes outside basic troubleshooting to resolve problems.
- Verifies problem and validates escalation prior to Payroll Supervisor/Manager. Target Setting
-Runs the payroll interface. Ensure the accuracy of data extracted from the system.
-Processes Interfaces; balances and analyzes General ledger figures, reports to St. Louis counterparts any discrepancies / abnormal high and lows.
- Ensures that the time files are submitted on time
-Ensures that the payroll calculations are correct
- Keeps the Business Unit in line to respect ADP's cut off
-Makes different configuration that are needed in ADP and Oracle
-Reviews and ensure the completeness and accuracy of reports sent out to the Business Units
-Achieve and maintain 100% accuracy and SLA set by GHRIS. Accuracy should not go below 99.50%. Ensure to update SR's every seven days.
-Attend to team meetings/activities by actively participating and sharing knowledge to team members.
-Does the Regression Testing.
-Perform other duties as may be assigned Requirements
Must:
-4-year Course with Business, Financial, Accounting, or Psychology background
-Knowledgeable in MS Excel and any Payroll System
-Must be able to think logically and creatively to resolve problems and prevent them from reoccurring
-Must be detail-oriented and conscious of data confidentiality requirements
-Ability to understand processes without every detail needing to be defined
-Good English written and oral communication skills, as all written communication will be in English
-Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
-Ability and willingness to accept change
-Ability to function effectively in a rapid-paced environment
-Must be able to multi-task
-Must be a team player.
-Willing to work on a fixed night shift schedule and 5 month temporary postPreferred:
-With at least 1 year working experience in HR/Payroll processing.
