Basic Qualifications:
• BS Civil Engineering or Architecture graduate, preferably with a license.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications.
• With good interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
• At least 5 years experience as Office Engineer for a high rise building project.
• Highly analytical, organized in the project documentation.
• Can work under pressure and results-oriented.
Office Engineers Head will be responsible for the following:
• Coordinates closely with engineers of various trades/disciplines, project managers, and consultants to ensure that the construction is in accordance with the project schedule.
• Attends regular meetings with the owner, consultants, and project manager.
• Coordinates with various consultants on design and construction issues and relay correspondences and documents for information, review, comments, approval by the concerned consultant.
• Assists in the preparation of bid documents necessary for tendering and awarding of the contract.
• Evaluate billings as submitted by contractors/suppliers, and assist the Project QS in the resolution of variation/change orders.
• Conducts in-process inspection of construction works, monitors accomplishment as against project schedule, and recommends construction methodologies and/or alternative materials that affect the timely delivery of services.
• Ensures that all the materials used in the project meet the highest quality standards and specifications.
• Identify defects and prepare defect lists for review of the Construction Manager and ensure the rectification of the defect.
• Exemplifies qualities that will motivate employees of loyalty, teamwork, and dedication to the company.
• Any other work, projects, or tasks as directed by the Project Manager, Construction Manager, or the PM/CM Manager.
