Job Description
The Office Engineer is responsible for the proper upkeep of project documents and reports and keeps track of and properly handles these files/documents from start of project until they are completely and properly turned over to the Property Management Team.
Monitors contractors' accomplishments. He/she may ask assistance from his/her Project Manager and Field Engineers
Coordinates with his/her Supervisor or the Project Manager in interfacing with the Purchasing Department and the Suppliers to verify materials delivery, tracking & receipt
Attends & keeps minutes of the weekly project meetings and any other meetings as required to contribute to review of quality issues, quality of work and any remedial measures required
Coordinates with the Contractor in the preparation of all project submittals and drawings
Qualifications
Commitment to deliver his/her assigned scope and must submit weekly & monthly reports to Head Office on time
All transactions are above-board and properly documented & recorded.
With Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field or Architecture (Licensed preferred but not necessary)
Minimum 1 year engineering/construction work experience
Good academic records
Construction background with even minimal experience on horizontal (roads, land development & multiple housing) and vertical developments (mid and high-rise buildings)
Must be able to interpret engineering drawings; must be inquisitive and consult the Project Manager whenever in doubt
Computer literacy at least in MS Word, Excel or Autocad.
Must be well-versed in 5S
