OVERVIEW
To provide occupational Therapy Service to clients from any programme DEFINITION - Therapy Aide is a technically educated health care provider who assists the therapists in the provision of therapy.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy under the supervision of the therapists
Carry out therapeutic procedures under the guidance and instructions provided by the therapists
Provide administrative support to the department and therapists to assist the Department with parent / caregiver / teacher training.
Participate in therapy related activities for the clients
Assist and support of to any Training programme organized by the Department.
To facilitate smooth running of the department.
Requirements
GCE O Level completed.
Certification in Therapy assistant course from HMI or certified in any therapy related
WDA approved course / willing to complete certification after joining
Provide administrative support to the department -proficient in basic Microsoft word, power point, Excel
Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards.
Good communication skill in verbal and written form
Willing to provide individual and group therapy under the supervision of the therapists.
Prior VWO experience will be an advantage.
