2. Under supervision, performs the following:
2.1 Takes and charts vital signs when delegated;
2.2 Measures fluid intake and output;
2.3 Performs simple treatments like perineal care, SS Enema, refilling of hot water bags and ice caps;
2.4 Provides specimen vials, collects urine and stool specimen and sends them to the laboratory;
2.5 Provides assistance to patients who are incapable to assist himself / herself
2.6 Attends morning rounds with the ward nurses;
2.7 Assists in giving baths to ambulatory patients;
2.8 Receives endorsements from outgoing nursing aide;
2.9 Monitors inventory of linens and ensures a regular linen change of patients
