Responsibilities
Responsible for sourcing, screening, conducting interviews and extending all offers to US Registered Nurses
Ensure compliance on background checks, drug screens, and active licensure on every new hire as well as coordinate and oversee monthly new hire orientation sessions.
Perform activities in order to procure highly qualified health care professionals. Conduct daily prospecting by telephone and face-to-face meetings in order to effectively present the benefits to potential recruits. Establish, promote, and maintain contact with hospital staff and medical societies. Attend national state and local health care conventions.
Sourced through company database, Monster, Career Builder, Indeed.com, and LinkedIn. Followed up leads, referrals from candidates, office calls and emails.
Qualified each candidate and imputed data into database, created files with all personal information in server for each candidate for future use. Created submission packet for each candidate, which consisted of cover letter, resume, skills tests that were specifically geared for each nursing discipline, references and any letters of recommendation. References were personally taken by me for each individual and imputed into their profile.
Prepared the cost and salary expectations for each candidate based on the bill rate from each client. Factored in the cost of housing, transportation, and the Per Diem rate for each assignment. Researched when necessary all these cost, and any other related cost of the assignment whenever the administrator was not available. Prepared contracts for all assignments.
Collected all necessary documentation for compliance for candidate to work with agency, and followed through with personal contract and relationship building with each individual, to create a lasting nurturing relationship.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2 years of recruiting experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Comfortable making decisions independently
Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
