Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Address inquiries on nuclear medicine services offered by the Institute.
2. Safe handling of radioactive materials during procurement, quality assurance of instrumentation, dispensing, patient administration and disposal, with creation and maintenance of relevant registries/logs
3. Laboratory work, including securing of biological specimen that may contain radiopharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceutical preparations and radioimmunoassay in accordance with the Nuclear Laboratory Procedure Manual (NLPM)
4. Scintigraphic procedures in accordance with the Nuclear Imaging Procedure Manual, and processing of computer-generated data
5. Assistance in radionuclide therapies under the supervision/instruction of an Authorized User (AU) as defined in the Part 13 of the Code of PNRI Regulations (CPR)
6. Creation and maintenance of procedural patient registries
Operation of imaging and non-imaging equipment, including CT (when properly trained and credentialed)
Administrative assistance in patient appointments, advice on procedure and relevant instruction
7. Participate in emergency response activities, in accordance with Radiation Safety Manual, at the direction of Management
8. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Registered Medical Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
2. Experience in Nuclear Medicine Facility is a plus but not required
3. With CMR Training (preferred but not required)
4. Willing to be trained
5. Newly licensed RMT or RRT are encouraged to apply.
Work Location: Bay, Laguna (with staff housing provision)
