Position Summary:
Are you ambitious, organized, and solution-focused? We are a fast-growing IT Support company in need of an experienced NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer to join our team in providing exceptional IT services to small and medium-sized businesses throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Southern New Hampshire. Our NOC Engineer is responsible for overall management, maintenance and integrity of our centralized toolsets and network solutions. This includes our RMM software, customer-facing cloud environments/solutions, and server backups. Examples include but are not limited to; managing security patching, antivirus software deployment, monitoring and maintenance. The NOC Engineer also works with other Spade departments as a technical escalation point, and to help automate processes and create efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating areas of efficiency using scripting, automation, etc.
Building a strong partnership with Spade vendors and leveraging their expertise.
IT Support relating to issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure.
Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
Support services for virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft
Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
Collaborate with team to assess process improvement opportunities, assess tools, etc. to improve service delivery.
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Manage the remote monitoring and management system to ensure consistency and accurate reporting of customer devices.
Managing monthly patching (including patch approvals and testing).
Follow up on failed patches.
BDR and AV monitoring and maintenance
Software upgrades
Scripting
Freedom for technical creativity
Ability to troubleshoot/act as escalation point for technical questions.

Experience with Network Administration
Office365 administration/security
Active Directory/Group Policy Administration
Cloud Hosting

Egenera Management (Cloud Hosting)
Experience with scripting
Developing scripts to automate software installs, desktop cleanup and Office 365 Management.
Experience with BDR (backup and disaster recovery).
Experience with RMM Tool
Labtech scripting (highly preferred)
Experience administrating Microsoft Windows Server; account management, password resets, and file management
Hands on experience with virus, spyware, and malware removal
Basic network troubleshooting skills
Experience with reporting
Maintaining automated antivirus/antimalware
Experience administrating Microsoft Exchange/365 including email account creation, distribution list management, and other basic administrative tasks
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work a minimal-load on-call rotation
Experience recommending information technology strategies and evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements.
This position will work overnight (US hours) and dayshift (Philippines)
