JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
WELCOME GUEST EXPERIENCE
Maintain proper grooming with complete uniform.
Greet guests with a smile and signature greetings of “WELCOME HOME”.
Answers telephone calls within 3 rings in a courteous manner.
FACILITY CHECK
Perform rounds at the hotel lobby, floors, pantry area, public areas, and facilities at the start of shift.
Ensure that the hotel facility (fitness Centre, pools) is closed including lights and aircon.
Include all particulars for repair to the Daily flash report.
ENDORSEMENT
Collect endorsement from:
Room Attendant (PM) - pending supplies/linens to be segregated per floor.
Front Desk (PM) - pending rooms for arrival; check out and guest request notes
FRONT DESK FUNCTION
Facilitate check-in and check out.
Immediate response to guest inquiries or requests through Viber Concierge.
Attend, address and coordinate concern for resolution.
Receive and post payment for hotel transactions.
Endorse all unresolved concerns to Front Desk Associate AM shift.
RESERVATIONS FUNCTION
Be able to monitor reservations and room allocation in a daily manner.
Respond to reservation’s email and social media inquiries backlog.
Respond to comments and reviews online on OTAs and on social media platforms.
Make a DNR report for any room needed to be in a DNR Status.
Shall provide and validate rate discount or any rate changes from PMS to OTA Extranet.
Assists Hotel Manager in digital marketing such as posting and boosting if needed.
GUEST REQUEST
Fulfill necessary in-room linen supplies for last-minute bookings or guest’s request for hotel merchandise.
Post supplies on PMS for inventory auditor’s count.
NIGHT ROOM AUDIT
Print vacant room list including arrival rooms in PMS.
Check actual vacant room status vs PMS room status is accurate and tally.
Night Audit includes checking of water and electricity per day. Summary of utilities shall be recorded.( Required to complete Daily Utility Admin )
Report to Operations Manager cc hotel admin for any discrepancy.
COVERED SHIFT
Performs tasks, duties and covered shifts of colleagues in their absence.
OTHERS
Undertake other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time
JOB QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Hotel & Travel Industry Management
Height at least 5`4”
With pleasing personality
Experience
With experience in Hotel as a receptionist or in a related field
Skills

Can work with minimum supervision
Good communication skills
Willing to work in graveyard shift
