NEXTJS/SUPABASE WEB DEVELOPERS
 
THE JOB
 
Web Developer(s) - Specializing in Next.js and Supabase/PostgreSQL for our Cebu operation, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
 
We are seeking passionate and skilled Web Developers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Next.js, a strong understanding of integrating and managing databases like Supabase/PostgreSQL, and familiarity with serverless architectures. As a key member of our development team, you will help design, develop, and maintain robust web applications that provide a seamless and efficient user experience.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Next.js Development:
 
• Work collaboratively to design and build web applications using Next.js.
• Leverage Next.js capabilities to ensure efficient client-side rendering and server-side performance.
• Implement reusable components and enhance the user interface.
 
Database Integration with Supabase/PostgreSQL:
 
• Integrate and manage Supabase and PostgreSQL databases for optimal data flow in web applications.
• Utilize the full capabilities of Supabase to enhance application features, including real-time data synchronization.
• Write efficient database queries and optimize for performance.
 
API Integration:
 
• Work with APIs to seamlessly connect external services and data sources to the web applications.
• Ensure smooth front-end and back-end communication with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
 
Serverless Architecture:
 
• Develop and maintain web applications based on serverless architecture principles, using services like Supabase functions.
• Deploy serverless functions for enhanced scalability, cost-effectiveness, and simplified application management.
 
Code Quality and Testing:
 
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and standards.
• Conduct comprehensive testing to identify and resolve bugs for reliable application performance.
 
Collaboration:
 
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers and UI/UX designers.
• Participate in code reviews to share knowledge and improve code quality across the team.
 
Learning and Growth:
 
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new tools and techniques, especially regarding AI-driven coding solutions.
 
Qualifications:
 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Next.js, including its core features and ecosystem.
• Experience with Supabase/PostgreSQL and a strong understanding of database integration and management.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript, front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS), and version control (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of serverless architecture principles and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with API integration and RESTful/GraphQL principles.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
 
Nice to Have Additional Skills:
 
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Understanding of modern front-end development trends and frameworks.
