Job Description
This role involves:
Managing day to day ownership of our Meetings & Events technologies - including Cvent tools
Managing relationships with our technology vendor
Working with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve and develop our M&E technology portfolio including M&E colleagues, Marketing & Communications teams and other interested parties
Thought leadership and experience in M&E technology industry
Staying on top of industry trends in M&E technology space
Conducting internal training on M&E tools
Maintaining appropriate documentation and training material for internal tools
Other Roles:
Team management of globally dispersed web builder team
Design and develop attendee registration sites using Cvent Flex software, per event owner requirements
Consult with event owners on system functionality, requirements and other relevant information to configure registration sites
Analyze and assign team resources to ensure all processes and deliverable dates are met
Manage integration of registration data with other relevant systems (i.e. Cvent's Attendee Hub, Crowd Compass, Cvent's OnArrival, Eloqua, On24, Salesforce, etc.)
Create and send event attendee communications using templates and event owner-provided content
Collaborate with event owners on suggested site changes
Create standard and custom event reports
Record team member time supporting events for accurate reporting and billing
Interact with Cvent Tech Support and Cvent Help Community to troubleshoot issues, as needed
Participate in Cvent Super User community to share best practices in use of technology and service delivery
Lead internal team calls, represent function on internal as well as related vendor calls, and lead broader internal super user calls on topics of team delivery, technology functionality, overall strategy, technology product trends, and drive team training requirements.
Troubleshoot outages and address service delivery escalations
Maintain proficiency of Cvent system through ongoing training
Qualifications:
Required Skills for Strategic Programs Manager
Must be an expert with Cvent Software
Vendor Relationship Management Experience
Significant experience & expertise with Cvent Meetings & Event suite
Strong written & verbal communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint & Excel
Abiity to manage senior stakeholder relationships
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to simplify complex themes
Proven teaming skills and ability to work with large and complex global teams
Required Skills for Strategic Programs Associate Manager
Previous Meeting & Event industry experience
Cvent web registration technology expertise
Cvent event technology expert (i.e. Cvent Certification in: Account Administration, System Administration, advanced Event Management, Virtual & Hybrid Events, Attendee Hub/Event App)
Team management
Familiarity with HTML, WordPress, Code Snippets a plus
Previous web development/design experience
At least 12 months of using and managing Cvent Flex software
Experience managing a team of developers that build websites
Client-Centric or Stakeholder management Experience
