Description
Responsibilities:
-Maintain Microfocus Network Node Manager systems
-Maintain Microfocus Operations Manager (OMi) systems
-Maintain Microfocus uCMDB and Universal Discovery systems
-Maintain and enhance integrations with Service Now, Telalert, NPS and Flume
-Revise and develop new OMi Policies for network and server monitoring
-Fine tune java code in the event pipeline feeding the NOC
-Revise and develop new scripts to facilitate monitoring and generate reports
-Respond to real time issues with monitoring, auto ticketing & paging
Qualifications:
-Network Management experience and deep knowledge of SNMP
-At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Minimum 3 years experience within telecommunications or administering servers and applications required
-Microfocus Network Node Manager Tool
-Microfocus Operations Manager
-Microfocus uCMDB and Universal Discovery
-Using version management systems
-Intermediate knowledge of operation systems and platforms (e.g., Unix, Windows, etc.) required
-Coding skills in java and shell scripting
-Required skill(s): snmp, windows, microfocus operations manager, Microfocus uCMDB and Universal Discovery, LanManager, UNIX.
