Job Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field of study with a network engineering focus.
With 3 to 4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or any related field. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including routers, switches, and controllers.
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Dependable and flexible when necessary.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Acted as technical coordinator of the team, providing 24/7 support for the national team (LUZ-VIS-MIN), ensuring the day-to-day operation of the NOS team.
Weekly report on capacity management. Ensure all augmentation requests by NCA regarding link utilization that reaches 70% are being addressed to FE and monitor until completed.
Monitor and consolidate all service acceptance reports, make sure all endorsed acceptance follow the 2-3 days SLA, and must have provided the acceptance report.
Monthly accomplishment report on installed equipment (access switch, OOB switch, and acpm).
Ensure requests for additional switches are being addressed to FE and completed on the given target date.
Monitor daily network events and liaise with other operations teams to diagnose and resolve service-affecting issues that occur (Send updates every 30 minutes).
Conducts monthly updates on the network inventory database, backup configuration, and monitoring tools for the national team.
Lead the team on the OSS project.
Heart of Communication of the team coordinates all support groups in and out of Net Ops. Report and Data bank of the National team.
