Reporting to the Network Operations Manager, the successful candidate will have the following functions:
1.Responsible for the assessment, evaluation and preparation of the Day-Ahead Generation Schedule (DAGS), Day-Ahead Ancillary Services Schedule (DAASS) and Day-Ahead Alert Notice (DAAN) in consideration of the available supply capacity
2.Responsible for the preparation/assessment and generation of Grid Operating Program (Week-Ahead/Month-Ahead/Year-Ahead and Three-Year Program) in compliance to the 2016 new PGC.
3.Daily validation of nomination of VREs/RE's plants for the preparation of summary of its output
4.Daily imposition in the Over-Riding Constraints, offline data transmitted to IEMOP (Security Limits/non-Security Limits/Outage Schedule)
5.Weekly preparation Power System Weekly Operational Highlights report, and
6.Responsible for the daily preparation/submission of Week-Ahead Operating Program
7.In Close coordination with DOE, PEMC, IEMOP, Trading Participants, Generating Power Plants, Ancillary Services Providers, PSALM, NPC, NIA, Pagasa, other Government Agencies, RRA, O&M, P&E, MSO, VSO, NSO and other LSO Groups
8.Knowledgeable in Basic Programming Language/s
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Registered Electrical Engineer
Three (3) years of related experience
Good communication skills
Knowledgeable in Basic Plant Operations
Must know Basic Programming Languages
