Job Description
Overview
Telna is looking for a full-time Network Operations Center Technician who will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance and availability of Telna Networks and systems within the organization.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following -
Network Monitoring: Monitor the network infrastructure, to detect and handle any network-related issues or anomalies. This involves using network monitoring tools to analyze network traffic, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential problems.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot network incidents, such as service degradation, connectivity problems, or performance issues. To follow established procedures to diagnose and resolve these issues promptly, minimizing downtime and impact on network operations.
Incident Management: Should be responsible for managing and documenting network incidents. This includes accurately logging incidents, tracking their progress, and ensuring timely resolution. In some cases, escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams if necessary.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and incident post-mortem reports.
Proactive Monitoring and Reporting: Must proactively monitor network performance, capacity, and trends to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. To generate reports and metrics on network health, performance, and incident trends to help identify patterns, optimize network resources, and make informed decisions.
Experience and Required
Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
Telecom Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Strong understanding of Telecom Core Network Protocols, SIGTRAN, SS7, GTP
Good analytical skills
Attention to details.
Ability to work under pressure.
Nice To Have
Knowledge of cellular network components and call flows.
