Description
Network Operation Team Lead
Network Operation Center
1. Lead the Network Support Team, monitoring, issue Isolation and Restoration of Network Infrastructure and Security.
2. Responsible for making sure that the connectivity is up and running.
3. Checking of Telco dependent's tickets for follow up and reporting of down sites
4. Monitoring update via Email Blast for Downsite's Monitoring
5. Provide 2nd/3rd level support for head office and branches (onsite, phone and email support to branches, vendor etc.).
6. Conduct support regarding website/application access/restriction.
7. Checking of updates in Network Downsite's Monitoring file
8. Checking of Network Equipment's utilization and backup.
9. Support Info Sec regarding issues and concerns with Infrastructure security
10. Checking of updates/patch for corporate infrastructure.
11. Conduct support for EBMS infrastructure.
12. Conduct assessment and recommendation for network infrastructure and security assessment.
Data Center Operation
1. Prepare plans for development and installation of data center according to present and future requirements which includes:
a. Server Upgrades On-Premises Servers
b. Server Upgrades On-Offsite Servers
c. DRP / BCP Planning
2. Monitor all software and hardware and ensure compliance with regards to Data Center Operations.
3. Administer installation and maintenance of the following server systems :
a. HRIS Local Cloud Servers
b. EBMS Servers on premise and offsite branches
c. Internal Production Servers (DHCP, DNS, Intranet, Shoretel)
d. Test/Development Server (Corporate Website, Intranet, HRIS, EBMS)
4. Perform troubleshoot on data center, identify issues and assist for immediate resolution.
5. Monitor all functional resources with regards to Data backup (growth) Server Resources and Data Center Room Conditions.
6. Coordinate with IT sections in performing integration of critical server system infrastructure.
7. Coordination with vendors for any server requirement to assure achievement of Data Center capacity operations.
Supervisor, Technical Team
1. Manage Inventory Management for Client end devices.
2. Technical Lead and manages technical support services on client end devices (hardware and software) and IT security issues.
3. Manages Implementation of ITMS Projects (Central and Branches)
4. Manages Security Equipment's. Security Patch (Windows Update Server)
5. Manage, monitors and ensures all tickets assigned to Technical Support are resolved and updates are recorded.
6. Ensures all tickets escalated to 2nd level support are assigned correctly with updates.
The Ideal Person
This role will suit an individual who has the ability to work within an extremely busy, fast paced and high volume environment. Moreover, having the capacity to multi task, manage competing priorities and meeting deadlines is vital.
A highly organized, attention to detail, and competent individual who is keen to work collaboratively and autonomously within a small team will succeed in this role. Previous relevant work experience would be highly advantageous.
Key requirements include:
• BS Computer Science, Information Technology, or computer related course graduate
• Has Leadership skills, Supervisory role for at least 3 years
• Can do Planning & Budget control
• Project Implementation experience
• Experience in troubleshooting internet connection
• Routing & switching
• 5 year related working experience.
