What you'll do
You are a people manager and will be mentoring, coaching and inspiring network/infrastructure engineers on the team to take on new technical challenges and grow their careers. You will lead the team in looking at problems in new ways and inventing simple solutions to complex problems. As a Network Manager, you will lead in growing the network/infrastructure team in Manila and lead on building, maintaining Wonders' infrastructure assets.
You have a hands-on experience on managing enterprise networks, LAN/VoIP applications, IP Network, Network System Engineering, and is adept at the design, architecting, implementation, and maintenance of a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network for our call centers around the world. Ideally, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network and VoIP equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.
You are to advise on business and IT strategies, quality and process management, change management, vendor management, client and contract management. You will lead projects and meetings with a view to driving the performance of the infrastructure resources and ensuring quality, timely deliverables.
You will be working with our team in NYC and requires you to work on a graveyard shift.
Requirements
What you'll bring
8- 10 years of infrastructure experience with 4-5 years leadership experience in network infrastructure operations support, and experience working on a multicultural company is a big plus
You have a strong business, IT and infrastructure process acumen
Has the ability to also communicate technical solutions and coordinate network implementation to address the network/infrastructure needs of the company.
You have a track record of leading high performing teams that successfully deliver scalable products/services in a BPO, call center setting
Experience on identifying IT solutions, infrastructure assets, and manages the delivery and deployment of these
Experience on growing a small team of infrastructure professionals to a number of multi-functional team of network engineers, network administrators, systems administrators, IT helpdesk whose role is to provide desktop/laptop, software/hardware support
Experience in assessing the capability and capacity of IT infrastructure in order to provide sustainable business operation
Implement IT infrastructure systems such as IT Service Management using ITIL methodology in compliance with quality management and improvement of IT operation that meets the defined infrastructure architecture
Required Technical Experience:
Networking, routing, switching, VoIP, CISCO technologies
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, route redistribution, Spanning Tree)
Knowledge on Cisco, ASA, Dynamic Routing, OSPF, Proxy Servers, Web Filtering and Networking (LAN/WAN, VLAN, DNS, MPLS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
In-depth, hands-on working knowledge of carrier-grade VoIP infrastructure, specifically: hosted PBXs platforms (Asterisk), endpoint devices (Polycom, Cisco SPA)
Excellent, hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
High familiarity and experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
In-depth familiarity on setting up and configuration of server hardware
In-depth understanding and able to analyze WireShark results to solve complex SIP VoIP and IP internetworking challenges
BS Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field
