Description
MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is currently looking for a Designer to join our client who is one of Australia's and New
Zealand's leading suppliers of a range of broadband design, cabling and construction services, particularly
for next generation cable networks.
The primary responsibility is to create construction-ready telecommunications designs based on information
which is gathered from the field & from the client's network software.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Prepare Pre-Survey Packs.
• Review & audit survey documentation.
• Utilise client software to investigate existing network and make design decisions.
• Create cost effective design adhering Health & Safety on top and using either CAD and/or PDF
editing software.
• Correct use of client's systems e.g. siteTRAX etc.
• Generate BOM/BOQ files.
• Review & Quality Assurance before submitting designs to the client.
• Liaise with surveyors, construction team, landowners and client, where required to explain designs
and the related decision making.
• Contribute to the success of the design team by active participation in process development.
• When required, secondary responsibilities include:
o QA Delivery Partner construction works.
o Work with Delivery Partners, Field Managers and/or Project Managers to complete tasks
and sites.
o Create BOM and BOQ based on photo evidence, redlines, and/or DP claims.
o Create packs for client submissions.
o Resolve CA/Peer Rejects and defects.
o Update client systems which record the location and type of telecommunications
infrastructure as required by contract.

To be qualified, you should be:
• A degree in Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications
Engineering, or relevant course.
• Experienced with siteTRAX (project management) software, other applications
• Knowledge of telecommunications networks.
• Innovative approach in creating technical solutions.
• Production of detailed documentation.
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
