Maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; design router administration, including interface configuration; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Attainment: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or any related field
Experience: 3 years relevant working experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance and tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems with vendors
• Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation
• Work closely with departmental managers to determine future network needs and plan for network changes
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned
