The Job
Based in our Cebu office and reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure & Security Manager, you will be expected to:
Participate in the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects
Assess business and applications requirements for corporate data and voice networks.
Planning, designing and upgrading network installation projects.
Establishing and maintaining backup, version-control and viral defense systems.
Provide engineering for network integrations or connectivity of acquisitions, business partners, vendors, and other external entities.
Troubleshooting network architecture and making recommendations for system findings and enhancements
Making recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operational costs.
Work in a hybrid cloud environment - AWS, GoogleCloud, MS Azure, IBM SoftLayer
Design and implement reusable solutions that are capable of meeting immediate needs with future enhancements in mind.
Establishing overall strategic network standards and priorities.
Providing technical guidance and direction for TCP/IP transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, advanced virtual networking technologies.
Identifying INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.
The Candidate
In order to succeed in this role, you must:
Have a solid academic background related to Computer Science or technical related Degree
At least 5 years' experience in Network Administration
Experience in a variety of network technologies and solution architectures
Broad understanding of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the networking field.
Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts
Virtualization experience (VDI & VMWare)
Security best practices for firewalls and perimeter security measures including VPN technologies
Continuous integration, test automation and / or SecDevOps on iterative development projects It also helps if you have:
Familiarity with Cloud & Network security
Familiar with Agile Development methodologies
Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCNP
