We are looking for a .Net developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.
In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and an excellent communicator. If you are also passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture, we'd like to meet you.
Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop, and maintain software in a Work From Home set up.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications and components, supports and/or installs software applications and components, works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, and maintains documentation of process flow
Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to
, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/ * Ability to design, code, and test new Windows and web software applications using contemporary development standards including OOD and MVC.
Ability to enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
Familiarity with the
framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)) * Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Attention to detail
Able to support the Work From Home set up
Minimum download speed of 10 Mbps, minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps
Minimum of an i5 processor, 8 gig RAM
A designated work area
