Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate within diverse agile teams
• Develop and maintain the digital tools and services the company uses to carry out its mission to inform and support consumers and campaign
• Ensure software assets are developed, maintained and improved to have a high degree of reliability and scalability
• Ensure Information Security standards (NIST) and member data privacy is maintained at all times
• Ensure web development solutions enhance our members' digital experience and that objectives and requirements from stakeholders are fully understood and acted on and feedback on progress is given to a high standard
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a commercial .NET developer, specifically public web facing applications
• Solid experience in .NET (ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, common frameworks such as Entity, Strong Microsoft SQL skill set, including performance tuning, use of a .NET CMS (Sitecore, Umbraco, Kentico, etc) favourable and writing unit tests and/or applying TDD practices
• Proven usage of Git and CI/CD workflows - use of monitoring and performance tools
• Skilled in API consumption / creation - proven abilities in integrating between multiple systems
• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Keen to continue learning and develop soft and coding skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent time management and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
